I know Halo 4 isn’t even out yet, but wouldn’t it be awesome if for Halo 5 Master Chief went back to planet onyx and rescued the rest of his spartan team? I think it would. And you were fighting the forerunner defense systems and the covenant? I’d think that game’d be badass to fight with real spartans unlike in Reach where u fought with spartan 3’s not spartan 2’s. Pls submit opinions on this. thanks 
Honestly. I don’t like it. I think there are certain things in the Haloverse that should be left alone, Onyx in my opinion. Is one of them.
But i think that the books aren’t really paid attention to while they are a viable part of the Halo universe and maybe not a halo 5 but more of a ODST kinda thing.

I meant that not a lot of people see them as viable canon in the Halo universe and they get hated on a lot while theyre quite the opposite

I actually consider them full canon, sure there may be a few mistakes here and there but honestly, who cares?
But truthfully, I wouldn’t like to see that, I loved the Onyx story but I think it should be left alone with the rest of the Halo classics.
