This idea is kind of from ghost recon future soldier.
Objectives will be different, Some may be a territory capture, Others can be defending a flag, etc.
Now every player starts off with no armor ability, This also means no sprint. The only way to gain the armor abilities and sprint is to capture objectives through-out the game. So if a player really wants to get their abilities in the game they will have to fight over the objective.
One last thing only one player gets their armor abilities and it will be determined if the player was captureing the territory the longest, or if it’s flag it will obviously be determined by who stops the flag carrier the most if you are on the defending team and who has captured the most.
Here is the tricky part, For the flag game-type you will have to have more flag stops then the attacking teams flag scores and flag grabs. (NOTE) Flag scores, Grabs, and flag stops will be based on individual performance.
Discuss but keep it civilized :).
Rewarding player’s that capture objectives will lead to a CoD-esque problem of the better team getting better advantages. If the first objective gives an armour ability, then they have an advantage that can be used to capture the next one. Some abilities could also be more effective than others. For example, if there’s an equivalent to the Bubble Shield, then that will make capturing subsequent objectives laughably easy. Active Camouflage would allow the winning team to easily snipe and flank the other team.
Also, if only one player gets the reward, then there will almost certainly be the scenario of people fighting over it. It will be like how people fight for power weapons. Plus, it would be pretty jarring switching so suddenly between capturing flags, holding hills, obtaining the Oddball, etc. There’s just too many problems with the idea of rapidly-changing, reward-giving objectives.
So basically invasion but with AA’s? This might be the case if it’s included.
I would just rather have armor abilities scattered around the map. If you want a thruster pack, sprint, promethean vision, etc. you have to go grab it. This means you will have to forgo grabbing a power weapon and grab an AA instead. Just like power weapons they should respawn in a specific place at set times.

That’s basically the right way to add things like this into Halo, but they’re too keen on making it class-based. Darn casual FPS industry you!
