Got to thinkin’ yesterday and I came up with a rather interesting idea. Has anyone considered whether or not the GRD helmet is a waypoint unlockable? Perhaps with the addition of new Halo G your level on waypoint would increase. And if that were to happen, then maybe upon reaching the last milestone the helmet would be unlocked. Does anyone think this would be possible?
I have seen posts of forum members that have reached milestone 75 MAX and haven’t mentioned anything

Most likely not. It looks like the helmet from Marathon, and it was seen on Bungie’s live stream. 343i, or Microsoft don’t have anything to do with Marathon, it’s bungie only. That’s why they cut the symbol out of Halo CE:A and replaced it with a couple different things. If that’s a Bungie only helmet(which it probably is…kind of like the Recon in H3), then it wouldn’t be unlocked thru Waypoint…

It was never on bungies live stream, that was made up by a bunch of trolls and now every one calls it “grd” because of that, while the trolls are laughing historically because of it.

Can’t the GRD helmet model from the GRD dolls be placed on a spartan, since technically the helmet model is in every anniversary disk, and map pack?
I’m level 75 milestone, and haven’t unlocked it

No, because the helmet itself is only on Anniversary maps. Doesn’t work just like that pal.

The doll is a completely separate entity from the spartan.
In order for the helmet to appear on an actual spartan, it has to be included in the spartan model, which it is not.
Besides, the doll’s head is much less detailed and smaller. How would that look right on a spartan in the first place?
