Idea for Elites in Halo 4

I was playing Halo 3 offline earlier, and remembered that unarmed Elites had melee animations, but no damage. And I thought that it would be cool if this was brought back, but with damage. Elites were already made different in Reach, so with Elite gametypes, like Invasion, it could be used by pressing Y after you run out of ammo for both weapons. And it could be enabled, or disabled in Custom Games. The only matchmaking playlist it would be enabled for is Invasion. It would also be great for machinimas.

That’s about it. What do you guys think?

Or, Elites and Spartans can play the same and melee without weapons.

Personaly I would love to see an elite and brute fight in hand to hand combat, and have the ability to play as a brute in match making.

I would like to be able to play as every Covenant species. I always wanted to play as a Hunter.
Something like this:
-Gears 3 version of Beast mode.
-Firefight verses.
-Invasion.

YES!!! Exactly!!! The reason Brutes weren’t in MM for H3 when they want it to be was the hitbox problem. But if it where for CG forge FF and not MM I think it should be ok. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izFS3Es8MAk

This would be fun. Think of it Halo 4 Invasion. The defenders play as grunts jackal elites hunter brutes etc and the attackers are Spartans, odsts, marines. It would be sick.

Hunter:
Left trigger to guard face but you must slow down and right trigger to fire fuel rod. And having the H1 and H2 different hunters. B buttom to to smash your enemies with ur shield

That’s the best way to do this IMO.
