I have an idea for a armour mod that i think would be really cool, but kinda gimmicky.
Basically, it would increase the A.O.E on some power weapons, such as the launchers, railguns, and other power weapons that have a form of A.O.E.
I’m not sure if this sounds kinda stupid, or if its too hard to implement at this stage in time, when were so close to the end of the free updates.
Theres going to be more free updates. The only reason why theres a deadline is because of legal reasons. I wouldnt mind bigger explosions.

It would kinda be like the wheelman vehicle mod basically where u only use it when u spawn a vehicle and not use it again. Could work but people rarely spawn in power weapons now anyways so I doubt it would be useful. Also splash damage for most weapons drops off drastically as distance increases so unless there was a huge increase in the damage radius I don’t think this mod would actually have that much of a useful effect sadly
Ok, thanks for the constructive critisim. I also didnt know the splash damage stops being anywhere near good when a long way away, so thanks for telling me that.
I just want the damn ejector seat armor mod from Halo 4 back. It was so useful then and it’d be really useful now with how easy everything can be hijacked and destroyed. At least then you can run away instead of dying after wasting the REQ then.

The problem with armor mod ideas is that effects the spartan, upgrading shields, sensors, thrusters, reflexes, speed, etc so one that effects weapon aoe wouldn’t make too much sense. Before you say what about grenadier, it would make sense because it effects the grenades you carry they are small and easy to hold and it effects how well you use them to get the most bang for you buck, if you were to have better aoe on all explosive weapons, that would mean you were set with ammo for, railguns, rockets, SPNKR, ruel rod, incin, plasma caster, hydra, the answer, blissful slumber, grav hammer (somehow), rocket pods, dying star, voids tear (somehow), nornfang, splinter turret, and oni turrets all at once that allowed for bigger explosions, and with that it reduces how much grenade damage you can take. However the armor mods not touched yet are, teammates ability to see you/see your teammates, thruster strength (range and how well it dodges tracing), melee/assassination speed, and shield cooldown hang time (the time it takes before shields start to recharge).
Kinda like the grenadier mod. Take less damage from explosions and deal more out? I’d be down with that I think. You don’t see a ton of rockets being used in Warzone to kill Spartans. I think it might work.
