An idea for a playlist, even if it’s only a week long one, where there are no power weapons or even loadouts… Instead, everyone has a UNSC Ball and an Energy Sword (no Gravity Hammers) and kills each other by melee, swords, ground pounds, Spartan Charges and assassinations…
So Team swords? or Multi-ball Swords?
Doesn’t sound to bad actually. Could really help the assassination and GP grind. Personally I already finished swords. This actually sounds pretty fun. I might mess around with some of the aspects in customs.

So…it’s like swords…in halo 4 rumble pit (free for all)…but just in teams.
Used to play happy slap in H3, plasma pistols only, good fun!

It’s alright… those who hate sneaky types like me can just happily punch their opponent’s lights out… or joust with their energy swords (apparently, that is a thing since two energy swords clashing will send the two Spartans flying without killing them)…
Can be either free for all or teams (or both)…

Team swords was an old gametype. It’s pretty similar to what you were talking about, less the charge obviously. There was a version of oddball with multiple balls, unless I dreamed that as well.
