Idea for a Loadout System and MORE for Infinte.

OK OK OK. I know Loadouts is kinda a… trope of a thing, and it seems like a lot of people on the internet hated when Halo added Loadouts.
BUT, I would love to see Loadouts in the Campaign. Customizable ones.

Here is a way that they could work.
So if you are playing solo or with some friends, you could all pick roles, or weapons and make the game a bit more tactical.
Since Spartans are supposed to be Special Forces, It just feels right the halo infinite be more tactical, heck, the things I have seen so far of the game make tactical look right too.

Loadouts could be limited to ONLY UNSC Weapons and people could customize them as Specific Locations - say at the start of the game, at Pelicans/Condors (Dropships that are big) and at UNSC Crates scattered around the map. Where the players could also pick up ammo and frags from.
Maybe after the players complete the game, Alien weapons can become usable in campaign loadouts. Just an extra idea.

BUT what would also be cool, is adding ALL previous installments of Halo Weaponry. (and perhaps vehicles too, for the players to use)
Not all the attachment versions from Halo 5, but Base Models from All games.
AND to make things more simple… a graphic update on the weapons from previous games, but keep the original SFX to make them feel unique.
IDK about most gamers, but I love the looks over the weapons over time… the evolution of the AR, BR, DMR, SMG, Magnum… I would love to be able to have a variety and choice between all sorts of weapons in ONE game. And not just in PvP like these weapons tend to get locked too.
Like in the MCC with the Automag, SSMG being a Halo 3 PvP exclusive.

It will always go the classic way for me.

“Patrice, you’ll take the Sniper, Kevin, you will drive the Scropion, me and Jannik will push trough co-fire forward.” Weapons and vehicles easily shared, no loadout needed.

I liked loadouts but I highly doubt customizable ones would appear in the campaign, especially since 343 has been taking a more classic approach to Halo Infinite’s overall style.

a Call of Duty Warzone esc Gunsmith in Halo Infinite would be amazing.

For campaign only. We tried that in Halo 4 and people absolutely hated it. Or do loadouts like that for a specific game mode.

It’s a no from me to be honest, loadouts just don’t belong in Halo, that’s just my 2 pound.

I could potentially see upgrades been a thing where you can edit your weapons to a certain degree, but full on loadouts is going too far in my opinion.

Now I like Halo 4 as sort of a black sheep of Halos but I wouldn’t touch loadouts or perks with a 20 meter pole ever again. Its fine in Halo 4 for me. I don’t really have an issue there. But it just allows people to be even better at mowing you down especially since PC is in the mix and being able to choose a precision weapon gives you an advantage compared to everyone using controllers on the original release which made them more balanced. Some perks were just better than others also.

I would prefer them to hold up the classic Halo formula of AR and Pistol starts with both teams moving to collect map pickups to control the map. As for campaign, attachments are fine and dandy as sort of a pseudo loadout.
