Idea for a Halo Spinoff

Hello, ignore my -Yoink- username. I have been discussing this idea on the halo discord for quite some time and a Moderator told me that the best way to present a idea to 343 is the halo website so here I am. I doubt you care about the above so let’s get into it:

The idea for a halo spinoff game/DLC I have is based upon a Hazop Variant Spartan IV being deployed into the ruins of High Charity. Of course making it based upon the flood.

I feel like this is a great idea that will benefit the Halo franchise in many ways. It could also see the return of the flamethrower. Most importantly 343 could take this idea which I have left bland for this very reason and write a compelling story while keeping the spinoff fun and expanding upon the halo lore. Last of all i’d like to present the idea that it can change the opinions of many who dislike the Spartan IVs by presenting a likeable main character that doesn’t intrude upon the main story and is just a enjoyable character overall. I’m not expecting 343 to pick up on this idea and if they do i’m definitely not expecting it any time soon but I think it would be amazing to see this spinoff even just as a DLC for Infinite. I might be wrong and you might just flame me with replies but -Yoink- it i’ll take the risk.

I like it, I can see this being an actual spin-off, good idea!

The idea of exploring the ruins of High Charity seems like an excellent narrative start, but would the cannon even allow for this? I think that after HW2 the sentinels sealed it off. Would it even be accessible now without encountering massive forerunner resistance?

I’m sure 343 can find a workaround to this. They could also make the sentinels a enemy in the game. I am not a huge writer and it’s not up to me anyway but i’m sure 343 would acknowledge this kind of thing and find a workaround.

That’s fair, I just wanted to raise the point. I mean, you could even have sentinels fight with you against the flood.

That’s actually a much better idea lol and I really appreciate you for this, i’m not a writer myself, again, I just got lucky with this idea in my mind. I love seeing other people chip in because it doesn’t seem like my idea, instead it’s something the community worked on together. So thanks once again.
