Anyone want to throw around ideas that could make a good halo spinoff? My idea would be a game focused around a team of spartans sent to a new halo ring, 4 new spartans. If you read the desc. For the flood visor you see that the flood are still a threat on old forunner installations, and that’s what this Spartan fireteam would be fighting, they would be a spartan fireteam deployed to a halo installation as a simple recon mission, on the surface they find and combat prometheans and covenant remnants then eventually fight their way under the rings surface where they find the flood samples contained on the ring have escaped and the team has to combat the gravemind on that ring before it grows unstoppable, then the final level ends in a warthog run back to the ship followed by a survival like portion where the team must hold off the flood while the ship starts up.

Honestly that sounds like a good book idea cause if you start making spin offs of the game franchise its just turning into CoD or Battlefield with how they have spin offs under the same branding
I’d like to see a spin off with Buck again. Or one with Johnson, like Contact Harvest, or the Fall of Reach (like the book, from master chief’s perspective)

I like this idea
Last night I dreamed that Telltale made a game based in the Halo universe, and the main character was Dr. Halsey. So players would lead the SPARTAN-II program, and their decisions would ultimately have an impact on the SPARTAN-IIs and Halsey’s reputation after the war, but I can’t remember the details. This would probably never happen, but it’s still an interesting idea.
I have had two ideas for a spinoff or continuation of plotlines in some way.

I would love to fight through the infinity trying to escape the flood. think about it, infinity lands on this new installation, for now I will refer to it as omega Halo. Overwhelmed by Promethean defenses, Laskey and infinity realize that this is becoming a ground fight and are forced to crash land on the ring as keyes did before him. Two senior NCO’s (noncommissioned officers) like Chips Dubbo and Pete Stacker, who have had significant experience fighting on forerunner installations, are tasked with leading a spartan company to secure any flood experimental sites. The flood breaks out (naturally) and begins to creep it’s way across the ring and ultimately, the infinity.

Halo 3: ODST served as a unique tie-in explaining the events between Halo 2 & 3 on Earth and introduced the viewpoints of everyone’s favorite shock troopers, the hell jumpers. With the events of 5 happening, I’d like to see some old characters return to highlight the direness of the situation and add further the depths of the storyWith the event of Cortana deploying the Guardians, Dutch feels the need to exit retirement to lead a small anti-forerunner resistance on Mars with his top liutenants being a recently pardoned Spartan IV, Michael “Mickey” Crespo and Dutch’s wife, Gretchen. With Mars falling under complete forerunner law, the public is under great distress and looks to the resistance to liberate them from their forerunner opressors. The campaign will involve a lot of exploration of Losantiville (Dutch’s home) and interactions with Marine/army/resistance forces that were stationed there at the time such as Pete Stacker and Chips Dubbo. Later on, they they stumble upon a UNSC-lead counter op lead by a Spartan fireteam under the command of Romeo. Romeo, still ticked at Mickey for the events of the comics, Romeo refuses to talk to him. the group is taken aboard the infinity which serves as the last Command HQ of all UNSC forces and highlights linking up with Fireteam Osiris and Blue Team to create a military campaign to lead into Halo 6.
