Idea for a gametype- Unit Firefight

Name- Unit Firefight

So, there would be different, even teams. The layout for the match is mostly the same as slayer. But, we all get tired of Lone Wolves in slayer, one-manning an entire clan.

There would be boundries for each team, similar to killzones in Reach, but the barriers would be solid, and marked by an outline that is similar to Hills, from KOTH. The “Unit” would have two, random, squad leaders. The outline would surround the team, but follow the leaders. The outline would be five times the size of the amount of space the unit takes up. When the outline moves, the team would have to follow the squad leaders. Any players that are not moving would be dragged by the outline. If squad leaders are going in two separate directions, the outline would be stretched, and would not be able to move. If there are any players that have not moved for two minutes, they are kicked. The other teams would have this same layout.

If the unit is attacked, they could break formation, and take on the enemy as a group. The unit would not respond, until all members of the unit are killed. Friendly fire is off. Either that, or you could have no lives, and eliminate the units one, by one. With that, you could set up ambushes, and traps. However, you could only fire, when both of your squad leaders say to fire. If you fire, the barrier is broken. Your squad leaders could also ask a trooper to move to a certain location. The leaders could target certain enemy squads, and ask them to fire. All of these commands could be issued by the D-Pad, since, we rarely use it.

So, guys, how is this idea? I just wanted to promote teammwork, and fighting in a close proximity.

sounds complicated, team work is hard to get anyways.

Thats true.

What happens if one or both of the squad leaders die?
