Idea for a firefight like mode in spartan ops

We all know a few people out there would like firefight to return in halo 4, so here is an idea of a game type which could be added to spartan ops

The mode is called holdout, the story behind the mode is you get a to choose a map and then the holdout session begins with a cutscene with crimson’s pelican crashing into the surface or a building of the map, Palmer and Miller check on Crimson’s id tags and inform them that help is on the way, players can customise the timer of evac from up to 15 minutes to an Hour, within this mode you can also change the difficulty from easy to legendary like a normal spartan ops episode.

A few features within this mode, instead of firefight like waves, Palmer and Miller warn them when covenant or prometheans are inbound, as well as this, players will have the war games ordnance meter to call in to get power weapons, power ups or grenades like in war games, but to refill the meter needs more kills compared to war games.

Also within this mode, like gears of war 3’s horde mode, little challenges will pop up every now and again ehich requires you to do certain things such as kill so many grunts or get so many headshots, and these will reward the players with ordnance drops from infinity which will be weapon based such as sniper rifles, rocket launchers, railguns and spartan lasers.

On the topic of lives players will have there own pool of lives and it isn’t divided Amon the team, each player will start with 3 lives each and upon completing the pop up challenges and kill certain enemies such as an elite general or promethean knight, players will earn extra lives but these kill type life earns can only be earn’t once every 5 minutes to stop players getting an abundance of life due to killing so many promethean knights, players also have the ability to use their lives to get players back into the game if they need the extra help.

The xp awarded at the end of the game, ranges from what difficultly, amount of pop up challenges and how long the players managed to holdout for.
