It seems like most players are generally unsatisfied with this game (i certainly am).
I think one 343i could try to make it up to players is by quickly adding in a free event that unlocks some stuff that was previously locked behind a paywall in the store. This would deliver the message “hey guys, i know we messed up, and so we want to make it up to you by giving you all something nice”.
Would be better than getting more sucky updates…
Ah, yes, I’m sure all the people that paid for those expensive $20 bundles would love this idea even more than the sales.
343 is adding $10 for free every Battle Pass when you finish it. That’s a free Battle Pass forever since they’re $10. Just buy the next one for free when you complete it. That’s a pretty good deal imo. Free Battle Passes for 9 more years.

They don’t really need to give out everything in the shop free too. They already are working on slashing the old prices (with no refunds though but it’s whatever)

But this is the thing, they don’t think they messed up, at least publicly anyway. Cause if they admitted that, people would be fired.
Instead, those people are given the opportunity to leave on their own terms, without ruining their reputation in the industry and 343 doesn’t look like they mismanaged their large projects.

5 years to release infinite, 1 year of development delay and now basically another 6 months of release delay?
In 7 years you should have put out 2 games.
I can only imagine the amazing about of BS that had to come out of Bonnie Ross’s and the other executives mouths when they had to explain this mess to Phil.
But for me, the part that really hurts is that affinity is building basically their own BR Halo game in 3 years worth of time. That alone tells me 343 isn’t a good studio for this franchise and the expectations surrounding it.
But anyway, you won’t see them give away squat.
I know theyre not gonna give away squat but we can dream cant we? I just hope that someone takes accountability for this. If i was a dev, i would definitely not want to hire anyone who was involved in this mess.
I’ve actually daydreamed of a sort of thing.
I think it’s a good idea to implement some sort of weekly or monthly free reward battlepass.
If weekly, you get seven cosmetics.
If completed one of your challenges that week, you unlock one new cosmetic from the pass.
When next week comes, the cosmetics rotate out and new ones come in.
In that way, I think the mp content would feel a little bit more exciting.
To have a minipass refreshing each week, with your normal challenges as a unlocking system.

Or maybe a bundle as weekly reward instead of one reward. But I think this will stay as a dream.
I don’t think 343I are capable of producing that much content for Infinite.
