I don’t think there’s gonna be a Halo 3 Anniversary or a remaster of the other games either. However, I think there could be something equally as cool for us to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our favorite franchise. The cinematics of CE, Halo 3, ODST, Reach, Halo 4, and Halo 5 remastered by Blur. Would be so amazing to have the cinematics be given the beyond incredible Blur treatment, would be quite the treat. You like the idea?
Nah. I’d rather the focus stay shifted to the future and stop worrying about/remastering/remaking the past.
It’s been two years since this was posted. And now that we know more about Infinite and how the MCC has evolved I think this would be a very nice addition to the games assuming that Blur made the cinematics for older games like Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and even Reach (Personally, I’m a big ODST fan and I wish to see new cinematics on that game). Halo Infinite will be releasing on the 20th Halo anniversary and it is special on its own, but it would be an even more incredible package if this happened. We fans love how Halo Wars, Halo Wars 2 and Halo 2A look during the cutscenes.
