Idea | Evolve with already established modes

So in regards to HaloXpedia’s video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3plkApVJVNY) I started to think a little bit. The Halo franchise has a lot of lore and plenty of modes, Halo CE had many party modes to play with, some crazy and other never touched/played even.

With that in mind, I thought about a PvEvP where you have two small teams playing in a firefight mode. Imagine this concept, the classic Blood Gulch two home bases for each team with an open field and the enemy AI attacking each round (like a regular firefight), you fight for points to win.
But the competitive side of the mode gives it an opportunity for any team to strategize against the other team. If members of teams dies the firefight is over or loses a member the team will be at a disadvantage. It’s a risky play but a risk worth playing with.
Some small thoughts, powerful weapons to assault another team (long range and rockets) can only be gained by an enemy drop being a high target enemy, with reduced ammo depending on how much it’s been used. The point is risk and reward.
Teams could be of 2 members, 4 members (for the classic Co-Op feel).
In custom game (forge), if the developers want to go this route, add in flood, prometheus, classic covenant, even humans. The idea with humans could be nice NPC to gain during a firefight as they just help for a little while (the Halo universe feeling with the military might), example: in forge make it possible in the game mode to call in reinforcements for the players to fight with (thus making it dynamic against the other team). Calling in reinforcements is especially interesting in regards to placing your reinforcement in specific places. Or getting some reinforcement to ride with your vehicle to attack the other team, instead of losing 2 members you just lose one.
This mode should have a lot of customization in Forge to highlight the fun in Halo with it’s mixed of modes it already has.
