I do enjoy the ranking on Halo: Reach, where it allows everyone for all different play styles and experience have a chance of obtaining the highest rank, but I don’t like how it has came to be = Showing how long you have played.
I do prefer Halo 3’s ranking system, but I love Reach’s as well, so in Halo 4, I think it would be a good idea to have a dual ranking system, one for TrueSkill, and one for credits over all. This would give both experienced and inexperienced players a reason to play for years to come, just like Halo 3 did for me.
Thanks! I am going to try to email 343i about this and see if they actually read it. Forum posting can only go so far… So I guess I’m also using this post as a bump… I would love to see this implemented in the game.
I’m not trying to hate, because this is pretty much what everyone wants. But this is the obvious solution, it’s been suggested 1,000 times. Halo 3 and reach both had the same system. Halo 3’s exp system was underdeveloped though. And reaches truskill was hidden and arguably didn’t work to th extent that the 1-50 did (i hated reaches truskill, honestly didn’t even feel like it was there, but i can assure you it was. Just flawed.)

I agree, and it never influenced one’s overall rank like it did with Halo 3. I never liked the hidden TrueSkill idea.
