Idea - Armour Store

So a lot of people have been complaining about the REQ system and having to grind to randomly get armor sets. A possible solution to this could be some sort of armour store. Instead of having to buy REQ packs as the sole way of unlocking armour, a Halo Reach like armour store could help those who want a specific armour set. The prices of armours could be slightly higher than buying a REQ pack. For example you can get 2 rare armour pieces out of a silver pack at best so the price of a rare piece of armour could be 3000 RP, hence a full set (armour and helmet) would cost 6000RP. It would be more expensive than a silver REQ pack and you don’t get any single use REQs but you would get to choose what armour you want.

Prices could be somewhere around:
Common - 1000 RP
Uncommon - 2000 RP
Rare - 3000 RP
Ultra Rare - 5000 RP
Legendary - 10 000 RP
Mythic - 20 000 RP

A similar system could also be used for other cosmetics such as emblems or stances and you could still buy REQ packs if you want single use REQs or just don’t care about bying specific armours. What do you guys think? Would a system like this help?

Thats good idea

They won’t implement that since people would just buy the armor they want the most and never buy anything else again, it would negate the whole REQ system

Bad idea. Grinding isnt hard.

Like others have said above, this would negate the entire REQ System. As much as I would like that to happen, that’s more Microtransaction-y than anything else currently in Halo 5.

2bad that would be 2 ez for me to get every thing in the game so bad idea.

But it’s horribly annoying on a sub par game. The less time I have to play it right now the better.

I think I have a way to implement the armor store WITHOUT negating the req system. Instead of recieving an actual armor set from REQ pack, we would get a redeemable coupon REQ. You’d open a pack and get a “rare helmet” card you could use to unlock any rare helmet you chose.

Why can’t we just have the system from Halo 3 and Halo 4, where it takes skill to earn armor…In Halo Reach and Halo 5, it just takes time…instead of “look how good I am at the game”, it is “look how much time I put into this game”
