Idea about a vehicle: Gremlin

I just had an idea for a Halo 4 vehicle…maybe good maybe bad, but I thought it might be neat: a Gremlin. Anybody that’s played Halo Wars should be familiar with it; it was in a couple of levels.
Offense end: takes as much damage as a tank if not a bit more, speed midway between that of a tank and a warthog, closed canopy so no hijacking and player only dies if vehicle is taken out, no weapons but carries an EMP blaster with a fairly wide radius, knocks down shields of nearby players and stuns vehicles, friend or foe, so you’d have to be careful how and when you use it…could hurt your own team. Would force teammates to attack mid-range to long-range but would make them more effective.
Defensive end: aside from splatter, there would be no way for it to kill you, but if you saw it coming you would know if you didn’t back off you would be at a disadvantage. Remember the feeling of dread you get from Halo 3 when someone sent a energy drain ball flying at you?..kinda like that only rolling towards you, and not a constant drain.

Just an idea, but I would love to see something like this implemented…something that would force some strategy, teamwork, and communication.

I think all the vehicles that were in Halo Wars could work in Halo 4 if Implemented right.

Cobra- Locks down and acts as a sniper rifle on treads. Can’t move, but is used primarily as an anti-vehicular weapon, since infantry and aerial vehicles would move too fast past its sites.

Vulture- Would have to have a whole group of people to pilot it and use the weapons. Would promote teamwork and it has heavy armor.

Locust- Basically a shielded mini-locust that can climb up walls with a focus rifle. nuff said.

Wolverine. Anti-Aerial weapon that can lock on banshees at a greater range than the bashee can get close.

Your gremlin idea.

I could see some of that…a couple of tweaks I could see:
Cobra: possibly more of a either slow-charging or limited range rail gun (akin to the turning range of a mounted machine gun).
Vulture- slow-moving, obviously…then just like in Wars slow-charging rocket volley.
Wolverine- rockets only fire upward(nothing below horizon definitely, but have machine guns for lower attacks, and with the tank treads, I’d say a bit slow to turn.

Whatever the case, I know they said they were adding a ton more vehicles and weapons to 4…it would be neat if they added this stuff, even if they didn’t use it all the time in online multiplayer and just left them mostly for custom/forge.

Well, the Cobra has some weaknesses as it is so I think it would be fine. Things like slow turning for its weapons and the inability to move once locked down could make it extremely vulnerable.

Wolverine is a yes with your suggestion.

Vulture would mean that you have to have a full team. A guy who pilots it, a guy on either side to work the minicanons, and one who can operate the missile silo (which recharges really slowly.

I say the Locust because it would qwell the whole thing about the Scarab (Meant to say that earlier)

I hope to god they have it, since technically speaking they existed in Halo Wars, which took place before the very first Halo game.
