Would anyone else love to see this map in Halo 4 , it is only on Halo CE on the PC. I have never played this before but it looks fantastic and really good .

Only if you removed the DMR, LightRifle, all the armor abilities, sprint, ordnance drops and loadouts would those maps actually be playable.

yh thats what i meant , i certainly would enjoy playing halo 4 if it was like that .
Yes. It is one of the best maps in Halo of all time IMO. It has good balance (its essentially a mirror with different color styles) , places to hide, and is well thought out. Sure, include it.

Looks kinda like one of the BTB maps. The one with the mantis on it. I cant remember what the name is, but its very rocky.
BTW that map was really good. They jsut dont make them like they use to.

Meltdown is essentially Ice Fields scaled way down. You could actually fit scorpions and multiple warthogs on Ice Fields.

It seems to me like all the Halo CE PC exclusive maps were great. Shame i missed them would have bought Halo CE PC just for them maps.

Not at all, no. The DMR is a hitscan weapon with an insane amount of aim assist. The Halo 1 pistol, on the other hand, had no hitscan at all (which reduces its effective range by a lot) and had nowhere near as much aim assist. So, the DMR is effective in pretty much any range and is far easier to use and with which to land hits.

More or less. There is a nice resemblance to Ice Fields, which is one of the reasons I love the map. However, Ice Fields is to Meltdown like Valhalla is to Blood Gulch. There are many similarities, yes, but in the end, they are quite different maps.
Hahahaha, yeah, that was a great map. And Timberlands was used in a console Halo game, so there is that chance. This (even Infinity, I’d guess) would be feasible because of the addition of sprint. Heck, even Danger Canyon would be a fun addition.

Man I looooved creeping around those high overlooks with a Fuel Rod Gun, ready to rain death.

Oh, I know the feeling! And the Warthog battles in that map were the best, especially with the Rocket Warthog!

I played Halo PC before getting XBL, and man that thing was crack to a freshman in college. Even was a slacker and installed the Xbox 360 controller to my laptop so I could use that. The PC exclusive maps were a ton of fun and perfect for a BTB fan like myself.
Ha, just remember the modded games where the ARs fired rocket rounds that would send tanks flying…that thing was nuts.
big team infinity slayer (Heavies) would poop all over Ice fields. Everyone would be walking around with snipers, free random power weapons, camo…god no.
