I would love a post-Halo 5 Arbiter book

At the very end of Halo 5, Blue Team and Osiris make it to Sanghelios, where Thel, Halsey, and Palmer meet with them. In the beginning of Bad Blood, we get a bit of what happens right after the screen went to black, the group had dinner, and before returning to the Infinity, Thel has a bro moment with Chief, saying he is honored to fight alongside Chief against Cortana in this conflict. We just got Shadows of Reach, and while I haven’t finished it yet, I’m loving it. Such a great book so far, Denning knocked it out of the park again. It’s so great seeing Chief and Blue Team in a post-Halo 5 setting. I would love to see a book come out where it’s focused on and follows Thel in a post-Halo 5 setting as well. This would really be a awesome piece to get, as Thel is such an awesome character, and in this current setting/conflict, I could see a really good novel coming from it. I could see something along the lines of Thel leading a massive Sangheili resistance against Cortana and Created forces, trying to free Sanghelios and other Sangheili colonies from her control. However, being the head of 1 of the largest and most respected Sangheili government factions, Cortana wants to eliminate him. This would make Thel a priority target for Cortana, and I could see her throwing Promethean and other forces at him in the attempts that he gets taken out. I could also see her attempting to bribe and hire assassins to eliminate Thel, even from within the Swords of Sanghelios and House Vadam. This would be a cool setting, Thel leading his people against Cortana, but having to avoid being killed by her armadas and possible traitors within his ranks. I think ethos would be a cool narrative for a book for our glorious Arbiter/Kaidon. What’d you think, would you like to see a Thel focused novel set post-Halo 5 in a narrative similar to this?

I love this idea! Though I’m torn between a book and a game… The book would be more likely because, let’s face it, the development time and resources required for a book are considerably lower than a spin-off game. But dang this could make for a really interesting RPG where we get to explore Sangheilios. Or even just make it a simple FPS, but we still get some open areas to explore.

How about an entire book series??? I would love a whole series on the Arbiter. Maybe about his time between games. I mean, there’s a whole series about Master Chief so why not make a series about the Arbiter?

A book like this could be really good, especially if they plan on doing a Shanghelios based expansion for Infinite.

The Arbiter is such a great character, I think this is a must.
