I would like to take the time to thank 343i, the cast for HTT, and the writers for HTT, for making such a fantastic story that we were able to listen for free. Of course, this is all part of Halo 5’s marketing but who cares? It wasn’t cheesy or uninspired (which could have been if they didn’t care, but that’s not the point.) The story, voice acting, script, sound effects, etc, were all on point. Thank you 343i, cast, writers, and even Microsoft (which might have had anything to do with this) for making Hunt The Truth. (Also, thanks for making Del Rio get his yoinked kicked by O.N.I; job wise.)
(If you liked Hunt The Truth, please show your support on this thread by liking this post and by commenting. Happy Haloing and remember E3 is tomorrow!)
HTT had a better plot than like 90% of most movies nowadays, it was fantastic. It was just so well written, the story telling was fantastic, the cliff hangers were actually interesting and unpredictable, and it was just great. Most people probably expected a plot twist but no way in hell did any one expect that one. You did good, 343, you did good. Hopefully they continue Petra’s “quest” to bring down those sons of -Yoinks!- that make up the Office of Naval Intelligence in Spielberg’s TV Series, however I doubt it.
Cheers to Benjamin Giraud, the one who we all thought got so close to bringing down ONI, but in reality was just a pawn in a larger game.
I have exactly the same feelings for this. The writing was great! The casting was brilliant! And the plot twist in the final episode was unexpected! I can’t wait to see where this goes next and how it ties into Halo 5.
It was the best halo media project to date, with nightfall directed by Ridley Scott being the worst ironically. Whoever wrote this and did the sound design should write and direct a halo horror game because damn are they perfect at atmosphere.

I think its because of the medium it was in. Because it didn’t have graphics and explosions to try and wow you with, it had to rely on stimulating your imagination.

That ending would make no sense of the story didn’t continue somewhere.

Yeah you’re probably right. It only seems logical that the story would continue to keep the hype up.
That was good stuff. I wonder if halo 5 will have HTT easter eggs. If the story is left unfinished maybe there could be collectables that let us know what happened to Ben, ect.

Wow I never thought of that, it would be pretty cool.
Thanks 343 that was an amazing experience, the writing was superb, as was the voice acting, etc. Maybe Petra story and Hunt the Truth will continue in Spielberg halo TV series. One can only hope. Thanks for everything, that was amazing.
I’ve really enjoyed listening to this each week, it kept me hooked! I agree with others that the audio format was definitely one of its strengths.
Hopefully there will be a continuation. I wonder if it will be in-game - kind of like the Audio Logs you pick up in Halo 3: ODST. Not sure which of the two Spartan teams would be following it though (maybe both?).

This is a good idea as well, I’m sure there will be something about HTT in Halo 5 i just cant wait to see what will be in the game waiting for us to discover.

I would assume Locke’s team, as they would probably want to know the information on Chief and to keep up with ONI and such.

You’re probably right, I have a feeling Blue Team will be preoccupied chasing after something much different.
This audio series is better than most blockbuster tv series out there. The story, writing, sounds, and actors were all phenomenal. Of Halo 5 is anywhere near as good as Hunt The Truth is, then I have high hopes for Halo’s future. Thank you 343, “…from the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
