I request PC to have total-player freedom on customizing ability hotkey(add more hotkeys) and change wheels-to-select units into TAB or something
It could be a StarCraft baby bit-ching, but that is what I request
I am sure they probably considered that, but I believe there is cross play between console and PC for this title (?), so I’d imagine allowing PC players full custom freedom would give them an unfair advantage over console players.

Does it support that? I asked the question before and the answer I got was “no, there’s no cross play”
Why do you have cross play anyway? Why would you make the PC player experience bad gameplay because it satisfies the bondage they place upon the “cross play” experience
There’s no cross play, however you can play with controller on Pc.

So now I have to put another useless purchase? I mean Mouse&Keyboard works fine for most RTS games and even better than the controller. If they really want me to buy a controller I honestly think, but hope it’s not, the PC platform is just an attempt to get PC players like me to buy the game

I honestly don’t know if there is cross play which is why I put the (?) at the end.
Well, advantages to cross play would be a larger community, for one. Less wait times for matchmaking to find a match, or more people available to play at all hours of the day. It would also allow the opportunity for more friends to play together (a lot of my gamer friends are PC only). One of my friends plays on both the PC and Xbox so if they had HW2, they’d be able to play games with me regardless of which platform they can use at any given time.
It’s kind of a double edge sword overall, though. Obviously for an FPS or an RTS, PC players have the advantage so cross play wouldn’t be fair.
As for PC players experiencing bad gameplay because of cross play experience, I’d imagine you mean limiting PC gamers options, as mentioned by the OP? I’d say that is because Halo Wars 2 is a console game first. It was intended to be primarily console and PC getting it would be more of a bonus and to push gaming on Windows 10. If there is no cross play, than by all means, if the devs want to make things more convenient for a PC only audience, than that would be good, unless they’re worried about upsetting the console gamers by giving the PC gamers a “better experience”.

I am the OP, but I do notice the design flaws and the reasons behind it, and I do forgive 343/CA/whatever for this.
But I asking them to expand/fix the PC gameplay, there are so many design flaws in the control. And I’m not asking for customizing keys, because they already have that, but it’s not helpful. All I’m asking to change some like the mouse to keyboard (wheel to switch units) customization
