I would like to know why white? Pics Included

Seriously, lets give them white on impact, brown on erosion, & etc so on, to fit with the theme, really, maybe we have a different theme we want to build? You said pallettes, you said 3, I didn’t think you meant just the one pallete on one map, but 3 palletes on all maps I had thought, but I was wrong. ;(

Now I don’t want to get points of it taking them longer, or them not doing it because its not cannon, or some other reason, they COULD have hired more talented people to get things in halo 4 done right. War games is a simulation, so anything can happen, even weird, bizarre, messed up-non-cannon- stuff like underwater training or gravity chamber or etc. Lots of things in a simulator.

Main Color, Secondary color, Third, Fourth, & fifth color options on all forge pieces, even lights? I would. Then I could have rainbow light tunnel come to life.

I agree, I do not like the way the textures are colored or designed in Halo 4’s Forge. They do not really fit with the overall UNSC theme, and lack coloring options.

I honestly just prefer Forerunner Textures, Sandbox and Reach, gave me a lot of what I desired in the texture styles. I just hope we get a Forerunner palette soon.

This is the feeling i get, when looking at unsc pallet. This unfinished garage feeling.

When I played on the pit remake, I felt like I was in someone’s garage.

That’d be freaking awesome, but they’d need the ghost stronger, maybe 150% damage with guns & stuff. lol.

I can only guess what that may involve…

My only real complaints with the current Forge maps are that the textures hardly ever match, especially on the blocks. I would have preferred some flat-white blocks with a colored outline and square edges.
That, and Erosion is a really bad map to Forge on. It has framerate issues, the textures are disgusting, and there isn’t anything of worth exclusive to it.

Did you not know I was good at gimp? lol, I could show off some haloo creatures riding yugioh creatures. lol.

What about the holes in the blocks… very poor design choice, especially with dynamic lighting.

I would like to know why on Ravine there is this giant Forerunner structure that is not only a pain to forge with, but the map specific pallet has one Forerunner piece. ONE!

See what I was hoping for was setting the theme in basic editing options before you went into forge. Human, Covenant, Forerunner, and the variations they have. Also, individually swapping the texture while in forge mode on pieces. It seems like a piece of work to pull off, but what OP said we want to build our own themes.

Erosion is great for flood maps, but that’s about it.

Dynamic lighting almost always breaks on erosion, which is incredibly annoying.

You could reskin the mongoose in Reach, so re-skinned vehicles are plausible.

i wondered why they left the color options off them at all, its possible to color everything, is it just hard to code?

BADMAGIK: I had to wonder that myself. This color idea i was hoping they’d do 3 simple things, Give us an RGB Pallete on all forge items in all maps, give us Natural pallet colors; & campaign colors. or they could give us a paint-brush & text option, paint is the simplest program ever, they could just use the tools in it on all forge maps.
