I would like the "Package" armor from Halo Legends

The armor i am referring to can be found here, here and here.
It is from Halo: Legends, a collection of animated stories, I watched it years ago on waypoint, and I’m sure the vast majority of you know about it.
I like the design of this armor and would love to use it in Halo 5 or even Halo 6. What are your thoughts, amigos?

I’d like to have that armour, but not being able to have a black undersuit may ruin the look of it.

That would definitely be an awesome armor to have. Who knows though, we got the Mark IV from Halo Wars, so there’s always a chance we could get that version of the armor as well at some point in the future.

Would be nice, always loved the that style. If they add it (Wishful thinking) they could make your service tag go where 117, 104, etc rests on the armor

You mean THIS dope as hell, but canonically incorrect armor? It’s wrong, but so right. I’m torn.

I personally think they’re done pumping out iconic full armor sets. They’ll release one full weird set with the next few updates, and throw in those last few helmets they teased in Monitor’s Bounty along the way

Technically its not canonically incorrect. Forward Unto Dawn takes place in 2526, a year after the S-IIs got their armor
The Materials Group had already produced dozens of variations of the MK IV platform, including advanced EVA and the first EOD suits based on direct experience they witnessed over their facility at Chi Ceti IV.

Precisely

i’m afraid that in h5 it wouldn’t look nearly as good as u may think. u’d rather be disappointed

I can’t keep track of all these retcons, -Yoink!-! lol

I’d like the armor Fred and Kelly wore as well. Not sure what they’d be called though… Mark IV [GEN1] something…

Yah maybe they can say it was an old design that is finally being built. This way, we still get our armor and the chief still used his original Mark IV during the Package and FuD. Also, OP, I wouldn’t have it as my avatar if I didn’t want it

Gonna create a Waypoint drinking game: one shot per “black undersuit” mention.

I used to hate the look of that armour before, since it was basically a modified Mark VI that was then called a Mark IV variant in order to make the Spartans look more recognizable to the mainstream public. However, now that 343i has released a ton of ugly as sin armour, this one looks pretty darn awesome in comparison.

That being said, it would look bad with coloured undersuits, like any armour in the game.

To this day, I still think that those two are probably my favorite variations of MC’s look. If not them, Halo 3. It comes way too close to tell.

Maybe in Halo 6 we’ll have decent armor customization and this, but as much as I like the armor it wouldn’t work in H5. As said earlier, there are no black undersuits which would really ruin the look of the armor. Not to mention that we don’t have a proper Chief colour. At all.

We are actually going to be getting a higher level of customization in an upcoming update this year. They are working out the bugs in the armor loading. The multiple variants causes some issues.

Says who? Links or it didn’t happen.

Anyways, I’m not a fan of that armor in general. If it’s added, fine (canonical explanation’s gonna be a -Yoink-, though). I’m not gonna wear it, but fine.

Please provide a link where 343i, Microsoft, a reputable video game site, etc. has stated this.

Otherwise, stop spreading rumors as fact.

Would love it. Already have the Mcfarlane fig on my shelf. Would look amazing in game.
