I know it’s obviously not going to happen but is it possible to get a refund on a digital purchase of halo 5? I mean, I got an 8 hour ban and I know I’m not allowed to quit but 8 out of 10 games I’m playing, the game experience is pretty bad to put it mildly. I constantly see people teleporting all over the map and I’m getting shot by 2 br bursts in one to one battles. There is no reason for me to stay in a match if this happens. Now for the 8 hour ban, what else can I play? I already finished the mediocre campain and warzone just isn’t my thing. I don’t think it’s an even playground where 343 doesn’t deliver (besides the lack of content) but has the ability to remove me for 8 hours. Let me be clear, I don’t mind getting my booty kicked but not getting the chance to play at all in a game is just not acceptable…

I suppose that’s the risk with digital purchases. 'Tis why I still buy physical copies.
In either case, this seems like a fair reason to get a refund. At least, a partial one. Seeing as how it’s likely due to 343’s servers/ping times in relation to other parts of the world.

And again, a ban is a ban and it’s justified. I only find it odd that I’m not able to get a refund for the lack of good game experience.
Have you tried hard resets of your xbox? Also use a wired connection.
Contact xbox customer service about refunds. They sometimes give out refunds.

Yes and I also play wired and have a BENQ monitor so lag should not be the case on my side.
can I get a refund, Cortana is too blue, master chief Isn’t angry enough, lock is too bad -Yoink-, buck is such a fantastic edition, I have way too much fun in arena, and warzone. I need a refund for forge, reqs, and the ability to have fun

Well about all you can do is call Xbox support and plead your case for a refund. Good luck with that though. This is why having a disc is better than the digital download. Because then at least you have something to sell or trade. Can’t do that with a digital download.
I’d try calling MS support. If memory serves, I did hear (awhile back) that MS would give 1 “no questions asked” refund per year on a digital purchase. But I’m pretty sure there’s a time limit. In any case, it won’t hurt to call and ask.

Well, considering before each match it says that regular quitting will result in a ban. So I don’t see what your deal is. This sounds like your deal not 343 or Microsoft’s. Plus when you bought the digital copy you are told before confirming the purchase that there are no refunds. Sorry bro.

I quit when I see teleporters, specially when they are on a killing spree. Lost my patience with them on BF4, bullet sponging teleporters are the worst.
To Op, try contacting Xbox support and start buying discs so next time you can just trade back in.

Again, I’ll stick to my point. More people have this issue and I’m just a person who posts something about it. Other people will just quit and in the end it’s not my problem anymore but 343, Microsoft and in the end, your problem as well since the population will decline drastically (as the population is low already). But I have made my point, I’m moving on now to another game if you don’t mind…
