I would be deeply appreciative if you would refrain from speaking. ABOUT THE DMR..

If your dying by it, then go to your loud outs and switch out ur primary weapon for a DMR…
…If you continue to die, face it you suck!

…People who are complaining about the DMR, get over it. Its all about positioning, if it means run behind a wall, come back out, shoot once, crouch, etc… Then do it, or just make it simple and master the DMR and counter other DMR’s…
Please, just stop complaining, complain about there not being doubles or something but not weapons.

Thank you sir! You get a cookie (::slight_smile: but you could have worded it nicer!

I didn’t think it was too mean :L

Spot on post. First the whiners will be complaining about the DMR, the next it will be other weapons they want nerfed until they are all weak as hell and it takes 20 clips just to bring someone’s shields down by a 1/4.

They should I would be deeply appreciative if you would refrain from speaking., practice with other weapons, get better with them, then master them.

So your basically saying if a gun is overpowered, just don’t use any other weapons and stop wanting game balance. Do i have to explain why that is horrible logic?

AMEN !!! The DMR is fine! And everyone has access to it. It’s fair, not random, and requires skill to out DMR other players.

Besides the AR still shreds it in CQB. If you boost all the other rifles it just turns the game into rock paper scissors.

Halo 4 gameplay wise is fine as is, complainers need to stop and 343 just needs to take a poll to find out that the majority of the community loves the DMR as is

LOL thats a way to put it but I like it.

Except its not OP. If they did what you want then the game would just turn into rock paper scissors. Just use the DMR and there is no problem.

Stop with the foolish nostalgia. The DMR is more Halo than the BR will ever be since its basically the CE pistol.

All the dirty casuals do is -Yoink- about how they want this gun or that gun nerfed, it’s getting old. The DMR is a weapon more catered to the pros and they can’t handle it. So, like a dirty casual, they come here to -Yoink-. Good thing this isn’t Bungie or the DMR would already be nerfed.

I can kind of see where the complainers are coming from. Call of Duty had the same problem. There was no point using anything other than the ACR, Type 95 or MP7 because you were putting yourself at an instant disadvantage by using anything else.

I’d quite like to use the AR occasionally or maybe some of the Covenant and Forerunner weapons but I don’t because I know I’ll get pounded into the dirt by DMRs and BRs.

I don’t really mind since I like using the DMR but I do think it needs a slight nerf in fire rate.

Agreed . . . almost.

The gameplay and pacing to Halo 4 multiplayer is spot on. DMR is long range and BR is in fact close combat like you said. Halo 4 multiplayer is all about What and Where and When to use things.

My fear – and this is a HUGE fear – 343i will cave in to the very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, small population that is what I think to be MLG and ruin the game.

Reach was changed (granted it was broken before it started) and it ruined the game. Battlefield 3 was so awesome before the Rent a Server update and it ruined the game.

343i, for the love of forerunners and all that is holy, DO NOT change anything. you worked hard over the years to make this awesome game. It is perfect way it is. Have not enjoyed playing a shooter online like this in years!!! Not since Shadowrun.

I don’t even use it because it’s just to damn easy. It’s the lolDMR!!! Free head shots for all.

Not everyone WANTS to use the DMR. there is how many primary guns you can have? why be forced to use the one the benefits to short, mid, and long range.

I do better with the Battle Rifle than the DMR, really…

My problem is how easy it is to use. Its almost hard to miss shots.

DMR is a piece of cake. I run circles around DMR users with my BR and put up kill ratios double theirs in almost every match I play.

This post is more spot on than any other post in this thread. Nobody is saying they should destroy the DMR, but the fact it can beat the BR consistently at close range is a problem since that directly contradicts what the BR is even supposed to be used for. A very slight rate of fire change would do a whole lot of good because as it is, the DMR is the best weapon at ALL ranges

Dirty casuals? Really?
