Yeah the unlocks in the battle pass are pathetic. There’s nothing more disheartening than grinding 1000 xp for a shoulder piece you don’t want and a challenge swap lmao. You should be unlocking 3-5 different things each tier and ALL the challenge swaps should be removed and replaced with store credits to buy stuff in store or save for the next battle pass

It’s not wishful thinking, it’s simply using common sense when it comes to business practices. Why do you think they released MP early? To iron out issues and get a feeler from the community. If you don’t think changes are coming you’re a little blind. But in the end, we’ll see.
The multiplayer we are playing now is the same thing we will be playing dec 8. No changes.

Curious, let’s say for the sake of argument that you are wrong, what would you say on December 9th?
Because if you are right, on 12/9, I would say “Well I’ll be “danged” they actually made a significant improvement, credit where credit is due.”

So you are saying they are going to extend the BP come December 8th? And will extend to level 120?
I would be shocked, and very disappointed because they would be dropping the ball big time, and will most likely lose a large audience. There is so many things they can introduce just from game modes, like team snipers, ffa, slayer etc. This alone would appease many for the time being.
I’m not claiming that will happen, but I do believe there will be content updates, like maps, game modes, an update for progression/cosmetics or at the very least a road map that will clue us in on their goals.
John Junyszek literally announced on twitter there would be missing game modes at launch. You’re blind my dude. Way to be disappointed.

In his defense, there is an achievement for reaching level 120 on the battle pass. Whether that entails more rewards, or is simply a mistake is up for debate, but it is present.
You have been provided proof that this is not the case. It is not anyone else’s fault you cannot comprehend very simple, plain text on the matter. You however, have provided no evidence and have claimed “common sense” as your facts. Common sense does not illicit inherent fact and truth, it also does classify as “wishful thinking” mainly due to it being a imagination, fallacy, or fictional/fantasy. They have given info, and you are speaking on the future as though you can tell it.
Have hope, there will be launch updates, but I doubt anything substantial for the 8th. Outside of 2 new game modes these are all the maps armor will be rolled out in the store regularly like they have been

Trust me, most will within the first couple weeks seeing how the campaign open world is just another destiny without the loot.
I’m not paying $60 when I play D2 for free and that game actually offers me something worth my time spent, other than just going, ooh, look at the scenery.
Want to add icing to the cake? They removed 50% of the armor and put it in the shop for sale. It used to be 120 levels with every reach armor included. Now it’s 100 levels with half of what it used to have.
No offense but campaign is great and if you honestly think D2 is better, I really have suspicions of a bias here. It’s also not even remotely free.
Just saying, thinking something is better or not isn’t even what my reply was about.
As far as it being free, Halo has only 1 destination if I’m correct, D2 has what 5 that players can play for free that offers gear, shaders, and other items through their shop with bright dust, no money, and engrams to collect items as well for free. What does this campaign offer other than running around shooting things just like destiny?
Edit: Also, there are seasons that you level up that offer a few items that are free.
Sorry but Halo story alone is 100000% better than Destiny and that’s my primary concern when it comes to campaign. Also you’re basically asking them to put campaign behind a hundred paywalls like Destiny. No thank you.

As far as the last part, WTH are you smoking, because the entire Halo is built around a shop/paywall. Like do you even pay attention to a game you play?
