? I wondered

Ok in halo legends i seen marines and odsts eating food on some ship in space do spartans need Food to give them energy or to keep them alive or do they take some kind of injections or pill something to make them not to consume food?

Yes, Spartans still need to eat, somewhat more than average due to a higher metabolism and higher muscle and bone density than average humans. They still need to rest as well, but don’t need as much sleep as average people. Their augmentations may make them stronger, faster and tougher than normal people, but they are still human.

What the above poster said is correct, they do actually need to eat more.

However, I do believe there is a function in the armor that acts as a sort of nutrition tube. Sounds tasty right? It probably works much like those hats with soda on them, except with slimy, goopy, chewy bars.

They probably eat at different times or somewhere else.

No, they do have to eat. As revealed in Glasslands (through the not so tactful question of an ODST. “So uh… how do you… you know?”) Spartans are cathed when in their armor to alow them to urinate and such without the removal of their armor. The armor recycles and purifies the water, too. As for food, anything you can eat they can eat… more. The UNSC also has super fortified ration bars that posses an unrivaled taste of utter disgust, but are the single most healthy thing for the soldier with a need to feed. I would suggest exhausting all other options before fighting to eat one of those… Even a spartan doesn’t want to eat them xD
