I wonder?

Will 343i put more enemy variety in the game, does anyone think they’re not showing us everything? In terms of weapons david ellis stated theres alot more weapons than was unveiled at e3 so im excited on that end. In terms of campaign I hope I won’t just be fighting promethean knights, watchers, crawlers, and covenant, I feel like there should be a little more, but I guess Im just picky xD

Prometheans are only one class of enemies that fight for the Forerunners. One species out of potentially loads more. I really think they’ve upped the ante this time. Instead of one species with each having one role to fight you, each species has different roles within each other which can make things really interesting.

Well, there’s probably going to be as many types of Promethean enemies as there are Covenant species. Plus there’s probably going to be normal Sentinels in the game too.

There might be more covies not shown. I don’t recall anything on jackals being in before the e3 footage. So anything is possible until we have confirmation. Hunters perhaps, brutes would look good with the new graphics.

There’s no way to know really. I’d like to see more, but we’ll have to wait until they tell us. It’s already better than Reach, though. In Reach, there was the Covenant and that’s it. The Promethean enemies make it a lot more exciting.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the first group of covies in the campaign demo was an elite, two grunts, and a jackal (I think).

That sounds right, yes
