I wish there were more options for solo players

Personally, I only play this game solo. Unless I want a super frustrating experience with team mates quitting, extremely lopsided matches and so forth, it really only leaves me two options: Warzone and FFA.

Warzone is ok, don’t get me wrong. It is casual so it probably fits me. But I enjoy the ranked/competitive element and it is not quite there with Warzone.

FFA is alright too. Quite stressful given the high pace of the game. I could do a couple of these games, then I’d have to queue for something else. It also lacks the strategical elements of playlists like team arena as well and feels more reliant on cheesy play.

What would be ideal to me was if there was a ranked team playlist to which you could only queue as a solo player. Then every team would compete on roughly equal footing. Do you think we could see something like this in the future? Has it been a part of past Halo games?

Unfortunately, while I do much prefer Halo gameplay over CoD, I can burn through hours of solo gameplay in the CoD public playlist while in Halo I always find myself stopping due to some highly frustrating elements.

practice your headshots and play Breakout or swat

Halo historically had a better party restrictions for matchmaking than it currently does now. I’m not sure if they are going to try and adjust this, but it seems they are focusing on the speed of finding a game instead of having that party restriction.

I think a pve would be good, like Spartan Ops. Go in and do it yourself.

I hear they’re adding a no party style gametype…maybe.

Warzone is a good playlist to be solo in too. It’s just at times where fireteams are around that it becomes unbearable as a loner. But mostly, you can do a lot of amazing stuff on your own. Most vehicles are one passenger only too, so there’s many possibilities, if you got them ofc.
