They had the perfect opportunity to put in a multigun pick up and they blew it. I think it would have been cool to pick up a pair of SMG’s which would have the power of the saw and close to the same range.
Why would you want two measly little SMGs when you can have an LMG with a huge -Yoink- clip that does exactly what it’s named for; to SAW through your enemies?

The SAW is amazing looking and it performs very well.
Though Dual wielding should’ve been brought back anyways.

Not exactly. It’s a lot more accurate at longer ranges than the SMG.

The SAW is just perfect. BR range, huge clip, extremely accurate, controllable bloom, fast RoF. The only disadvantage is it’s reload time which isn’t that bad.
The SAW’s bullet magnetism is insane and doesn’t even require you to aim at your enemies.

Ironic considering the most Halo of Halos is the original, that did not feature dual wielding.

its not OP because a smart player can beat one with just about any weapon… but if the SAW user is just as smart you, you’ll be respawning in a sec lol.

The SAW can be very useful, but it can also be very annoying. I like it though. It is overall, a good weapon.
i wish they would bring back the SMG, but the SAW is great.
i loved the SMG back in the H2 days… one of the only people that liked SMG starts back in the day lol.
You guys are avoiding an obvious compromise. Why is it that a cybernetic supersoldier can’t simply dual wield SAWs.
You make a good point. Hell, even James Bond could dual wield Rocket Launchers back in the glory days.
