Before it was removed I really liked playing legendary wrazone ff more than mythic and heroic, as it felt like a perfect middle ground between the two. Mythic I think was fine as a weekend playlist but playing it over and over just gets draining just because of the skulls. I like that it’s a challenge and it’s fun, but I do just want to play normally instead of having to consistently be concerned about being one shot after round 3 because my shields are down every game. Heroic is just to easy and doesn’t give a lot of xp compared to mythic and I do eventually want to get to 152. Im 147 and I wouldn’t mind grinding to 152, but legendary would be a good middle ground as you would get more xp but you can just play normally with that challenge still. I get it was removed due to population but still would be nice for it to return.
I think it was removed due to a common spawning glitch that made it fail the match by default.

Agreed. Legendary was the perfect middle ground. But hope if they do bring it back they give as much XP as Mythic to help with the 152 grind.

Oh dang, and there was really no fix besides just removing it all together? Population issues I can understand but that one just seems like it should be patched lol

Heroic currently pays out the same as what Legendary used to, if I am not mistaken. When they shuffled the playlists, they mentioned boosting the Heroic payouts to the Legendary level to make up for the removal of the playlist.
The honest truth is that even though WZFF is the most popular playlist, splitting the remaining players into a third playlist is only going to hurt wait times.

Yea thats a no go for the 152 grinders as well, cumulative wait times are the worse part!
I think it’s not worth it, because Heroic pays out the same as what Legendary do. Besides in Mythic we can get a lot of xp for Grind 152.

But if 343 was the one who removed the legendary list and left heroic and mythical permanently, further mention that heroic pays the same xp that the FF legendary list paid before.

so for that I am not aware.
For me, I would say that the difference between Legendary and Heroic Warzone Firefight is just marginal. The main difference is that the player has a bit more health on Heroic and this difference is so small that it shouldn’t be able to justify 2 separate playlists and this do especially apply if one of the playlists would have population issues.

The glitch is caused when players kill a enemy that is in the middle of spawning. That essentially breaks the spawn system. This happens in WZFF in general, not just legendary.
Legendary was merged into heroic due to population. Heroic now pays out legendary rewards. A middle ground of the two.
That shift wasn’t related to the spawn glitch.
I wouldn’t mind if they rotated heroic and legendary. Payout could stay the same or boost slightly for legendary. Either way it would be fun to have the extra challenge without blackeye.

In this type of rounds you should take it easy, let the enemies get their respawn for a few seconds and then kill them, since killing them right at the moment they respawn, the game falls into a bug, that happens in any playlist by WZFF.
