So anytime there’s a ghost, banshee or wraith available on a mission, I will splatter my teammates throughout the entire game.
The way I see it there’s really nothing competitive about Spartan Ops so I’ve devised my own competition that involves seeing how many times I can kill my teammates. The funny thing is you get “penalties” for killing your teammates in Spartan Ops, but they don’t actually count as betrayals so you can kill your teammates a much as you want.
I’ve gotten 60+ penalties for one game alone. It did help that all my teammates would only spawn on me so I could instantly splatter them once they spawned.
Usually all my teammates quit and I play the rest of the game by myself.
Only reason I stopped playing Spartan Ops anymore because you can betray without getting booted. Or the generally stupid people who blow up a teammates vehicle because they can.
… and 343 leveled capped all the standard players. Really smart for Spartan Ops in week four of a game’s release being it’s your claim to fame. This is why I won’t play Spartan Ops while capped or really this game at all without a major XP content payout, because truly you have to pay people to actually want to step into a dung heap of human slime.
That just seems incredibly dull. You killed your teammate woop de doo 0.0 it’s not like its an accomplishment or difficult task. I personally set actual personal challenges that can’t be completed by a 10 year old lol.

you could challenge yourself to not be splattered.

“nothing competitive in this co-op mode!”
Makes sense. You realize you can blow up friendly vehicles right?
Me and my friend were splattered twice each by a teammate in a ghost last week.
We both immediately EMP’d and sticky’d him. When the mantis drop came around we spent the rest of the game blowing up his while he got in. He never took one step in the thing.
It was entertaining watching him EMP us twice and -Yoink!- before trying to get back in.

> I bet you’ll be posting a thread asking why you got a ban later
You can’t get banned for splattering team mates. And were 343 that dumb they didn’t fix this after 2 years of it occurring in Halo: Reach Firefight. Please, they need to open their eyes and listen to what people are saying.
I could pull up hundreds of threads from when Halo: Reach launched on here that say Fix this now or for Halo 4. Again they didn’t bother.
