I will not be buying halo 5 or 6

This is where I get off.

This halo fails so hard.
Halo was fun during CE/2/3/ reach (debatable)… but im done hoping year after year only to be let down.

Agreed. Halo 2 pc servers are still up, and people are still playing halo 3 and reach.

Sucks to be you

Good bye and good riddance. If you don’t like it, at least use constructive criticism.

You better put that one in your cool story pocket.

> This is where I get off.

Ew you sicko. No one needed to know that you get off on complaining!

Okay, seeya

well that is sooo sad I would say that halo 4 is the best  but then again I have only played 3 and reach online so I don’t know about halo 2 online

I must admit I’ve already started playing other games again, which normally happens after several months of a new Halo game. 343i will have to work hard to convince me to buy their next Halo game because I’m not particularly impressed by their game and I’m definitely not impressed by their lack of response to the issues and problems we are all having with it.

So why are you telling us this again? You not playing Halo anymore is your business and quite frankly, your loss. Something’s telling me Halo 5 will be redemption. And Halo 4 really isn’t all that bad.

I’m pretty disappointed too.
But Is this really it for Halo? Maybe things can get better, right?

It’s still Halo - Well, I mean, if you squint one eye. . then maybe you just. . .tilt your head to the side a bit. . . Okay, maybe you just close one eye. . .maybe just kinda. . close the other eye. . .

> Halo 4 is a great game and it’s 343i’s first game, cut them some slack. You can’t become Bungie right off the bat. Even h2 needed a couple TU to reach it’s greatness.

Halo 2 also had a visible skill rank system right off the bat. It also had clan wars. Remember how awesome clan wars were? Why did those get taken away?

Because it was too easy to reset your level with clan wars (just by making a new clan). All it led to was the top clans constantly resetting their levels to fight newer clans.

I always figured it would be back one day, but without a ranking system tied to it.

I`ve already given up on the GOW franchise so I see where youre coming from with this.

game developers just dont make games the way they used to, remenber when sequals were supposed to be BETTER than the original? I do, and sadly game developers cant even do that these days. the reason why halo 1-3 were as good as they were is because they were GOOD and theres nothing else to it.

its not just the developers themselves that are responsible for such bad games, the community is also partially responsible aswell. when people say that halo 4 is better than reach I cringe, halo reach was the downfall of halo so halo 4 being better than reach is like saying GOW3 was better than GOW2.

btw algaeEater, stop making the same (if not similiar) thread over and over again, I heard you the first time -Yoink!-!

I will not buy any more Halo games or any games developed by 343i. Not for the reasons OP posted, but for the following reasons;

  1. Poor community support by 343i

  2. Lag in Spartan OPs is yet to be fixed despite numerous statements by 343i that it has been fixed.

  3. Refusal of 343i to add a “Search Good Connection” option to solve the problems international players are having with this horrible matchmaking system.

  4. 343i have shown they have no idea what core Halo fans want from a game and have continued the trend of pandering to the lowest common denominator within gaming, i.e. the noobs.

  5. The breaking of canon on more then one occasion throughout the game and the stupid plot holes in the story line.
