Thoughts on Cortana’s rampancy… its definitely going to happen this game if you couldn’t tell lol.

I wonder if Cortana was ever infected with a “virus” while under Gravemind’s control?
I wonder if MC will find and utilize an advanced piece of technology on Requiem to cure her.
We might see it start this game, but I don’t think she goes through the entire process of it in one game. It will likely carry over to Halo 5 and maybe 6.
Nevertheless, MC has a problem on his hands.
My first thoughts when I saw that were, is she talking to Chief, the Infinity, the ‘ancient evil’ and/or Prometheans, or someone/thing else entirely? Or all of them?
Hard to tell, but chances are one of the first two if her rampancy mimics that of other UNSC AI.
Those promethean knights are forerunner ai maybe they were corrupted by the ancient evil mentioned in the video similar to medicant bias. Cortana could have been controlled as well. Or she could have been talking to the ancient evil as it is probably going to try to get away from the planet control the galaxy ect…

I always had my eye on Cortana, ever since i first read about the rampancy of AIs i wondered how it would look ingame. Turns out that is what happened to 343 GS. Seeing Cortana go nuts? Well… we’re in for a world of awesomeness.
I bet she “dies” in Halo 5 and then BOOM pulls out a Deus Ex Macina at Halo 6 you see her live in the Legendary edition of Halo 5
shes an hologram so she loose. but when i saw that i was on high volume so i was like WHAT CHIEF DID???
I almost crapped my pants. I was like my god, the quirky little blue lady in my head may now try to kill me. That adds a whole new emotional layer to the game.

This just proves that Chief does not know what the ladies like, Halo 4 needs moar Sgt Johnson ^^

She may not even be rampant, she could be talking to someone/something other than the Chief…
It’s certainly possible she does go rampant but I don’t think they go this route as it was already done in Marathon.
Why does the remind me of CE? And why do I get the feeling this near the end of the game.

I have the same feeling. It reminded me of her explaining to Chief the true purpose of the Halo and raising her voice at 343 Guilty Spark.
