343, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say: We’re tired of people taking the other teams objective right when the game starts! Sometimes, right after people leave their Pelicans they aren’t clearing out their base. Instead, they drive to the other teams base and take their armory. When these people do this, the other team is left with a major disadvantage, and it can be nearly impossible to take back. meanwhile, while a team with s trying to take back the objective that THEY should’ve captured in thee first place, the other team has plenty of time to take the middle and kill both bosses there, and when this happens, people leave the game, and the rest of the team that didn’t leave is left with even more of a disadvantage. Maybe you could put a death wall around both teams spawns or a barrier like the ones at the ends of each map.343, please this has to stop NOW.
It’s called rushing and is a viable tactic. It sucks when it happens, but it’s 12 of you vs <12 of them.
Also, neither team can leave their respective Home Bases until everything is clear.
I hate when people do that, I see enemies in the map, and thinking that they are the remaining elites in the armory I attack, but they are Spartans.
I love seeing 10-12 people lose an armory to 4 attackers. Even if im on the team getting rushed.
Isn’t this just the defending team’s fault for failing to deal with the opposition’s tactical rush?

Yes.
It’s not “your” objective. It’s everyone’s.

This
Clear out the invaders. It is very likely you will get a first strike medal when you wipe the first fool out. While I don’t like it, and don’t do it. It is a legitimate to do.

Except for Apex, you start outside and don’t have to clear the base to rush.
On that note however - I agree entirely with the idea that it is the enemy team rushing you, and that is a viable tactic. I have been rushed many times on Apex, and 4/5 times they fail because theres more of us and we simply shot them in the face… I agree also with another person, that 1/5 time where 3-4 people kill and keep out 10-12 is hilarious - it’s also because the team is unorganized and over half the team goes straight for the middle instead of the armory, and that foolishness is not the enemies fault.

And Skirmish At Darkstar. No clearing necessary.

Exactly… it’s not yours until you capture it.

Ah right, can’t believe I forgot Darkstar lol
Please tell me this post is sarcastic…
You can’t blame them for it but it is annoying.

Everyone who replied to this was right. I was extremely salty because it happened to me three times in a row and I didn’t think before posting this idiotic paragraph

lol well said
surely them taking the base closer to the other team is good tactics as it means they can easily take the rest of the map while your still getting one base.
it just means you’ve got a bad team and its annoying when it happens but its fair and not an issue 343 needs to deal with honestly
I hate it when that happens.
But to be fair it’s a legitimate tactic and it’s not against the rules of the game. And if you can’t capture/defend the first base from usually 3-4 people with the majority of your team, your not going to win the game anyway, so best it ends quicker by them getting all the bases

Quick question, why did you bump your own post an entire month later? There was no point in replying to this now, maybe back then, but not now.
