I noticed it after this update
The saved data has disappeared in my HALO WARS 2.
The data of the campaign and the navigation diary can not be seen
Is there a similar thing happening elsewhere?
Hard is XBOX ONE.

I’ve lost ALL progress relating to the campaign since the update. That includes skulls, logs everything.

My saved games for campaign are gone and all the logs are locked. I have a play time of 00:00:00, and i just got the tutorial recommendation for blitz mode. But at least I keep all the dlc leaders and my card collection. Not cool 343

Seems to be affecting countless people after the update. And I’ve read multiple people post that they haven’t been doing cross platform / play anywhere, just Xbox One, and it still hit them too, including myself. Not to say it isn’t affecting cross platform people too, because I’m not sure. But this bug wiped and locked all campaign saved data for missions / objectives / progress / skulls / logs / everything. Although the previous campaign stats before the bug can still be seen on their Waypoint service records, the missions and unlockables are’t accessible from console / in game. Haven’t been able to attempt any campaign related achievements for several days now - thank you for investigating.
There is now an official support thread in the support section. If you could answer a few questions asked by Ske7ch then I’m sure the guys at 343 will be able to narrow down this bug and squish good it and proper. Hope this helps.

i noticed it about a day and a half after the update monday for johnson. i play on xbox one and without attempting play anywhere.

there’s probably literally no way to get them back as what seems to have happened is the save data was erased. you’ll likely just have to play the story again. im not going to bother going to the support thread. i only get 5 posts a day. i replied to ske7ch here so he can see it already.

that’s just tally data. it’s like earning an achievement. a while back there was a way to manipulate it so that you had every achievement unlocked for every game you’ve ever played. doesnt mean you’d beaten the game. the actual save data when it’s erased is permanently lost. if it becomes corrupted it can sometimes be recovered, but replacing it is impossible (not technically impossible, but it wouldnt be your save data and your accomplishments but instead more like a cheat file.) usually AAA games dont suffer from this, but many many many indie and early access games do. so i can understand your frustration. the thing is that dlc content pretty much follows early access style release formatting in that the game isnt complete and has to be modified which can cause unforeseen issues like corrupted files.

Mulitple people have reported the save data loss (campaign as well as service record time played) on xbox one as a direct result of the 5/22 update. I have a few friends that are pretty up in arms about it…
