I was too quick to judge halo 5

from day one (since the beta) i have loved what multiplayer has become. but my first impressions of the campain were not great. but about the 4th time playing through i started to like it alot more. maybe i just needed to adjust to the new direction they are going in i dont know. but i take back all the bad things i have said about halo 5. it is a really awesome game all the way around.

oy vey how many shekels have they paid you

People just don’t like change. My problem with the campaign wasn’t that it was a new character so much, but more that Locke was just bland. If it was Buck I would have been fine with it.

MP is different than anything we’ve ever played and it takes time getting used to it. Some people just don’t want to wait to get better and have to deal with the -Yoink- kickings they get in the process.

Can we please stop with this?
This is one of the most repeated lies on this forum.

It’s not that it changes, it’s what and how it changes.

Buck as the main would have been brilliant. Then you could make jokes about how “out of his league” the mission was, even if he wasn’t leading the fireteam. Locke was cool, but the story didn’t do him justice. I did like the “Every mission is just another mission” quote about hunting down the chief, but it takes the emotion out of it. Would have been netter if Locke lost someone on Meridian in the explosion and he thought chief was responsible.

Fixed.

The multiplayer is okay, but nothing attention-getting for me. The campaign is unsalvageable in my opinion. There is good there, but there was too much misleading advertising to begin with for the campaign and the direction they are going with the story is not one I care for. People are allowed to like it and I hope they find enjoyment out of it. I just see too much wasted potential.
