All right ladies and gentleman…we’ve all been there…the 15-1 game where the medal was ripped form your hand just as you could feel it by your teammate with a ghost who just happened to giggle into her microphone after. That match where you had the rockets and heard the announcer go ‘double kill, triple kill…’ and there was just no one around for that extermination. So here is the place to share your tales, tell me about those near misses that moment when you were just so close to that medal you wanted. Whether it would have been your only one or was going to be your 500th doesn’t matter. It could be a Superfecta, Invincible, Extermination, Perfection…you were close enough to taste it. Now tell us all about it.
I choked on at least 3-4 Killionaires. 
That’s an absolute shame. I can’t really remember if I’ve had any near misses.
I remember very vividly my first chance at an unfrig. I had a banshee ultra and was one kill away and my team destroyed the core as I was zeroing in on a guy. The match literally ended as I shot a banshee bomb at him. Sigh…
I had games of 15-1 and 16-1 before I finally finished 15-0. I was 15-0 in each one before dying late in the game. The 15-1 I died just seconds before the match ended.
at least 15 of my inconceivables didnt turn into unfrigs just because i ran out of time. when that happens its just a bit disappointing, but not really frustrating
Nearly got a perfection in btb slayer but my team mate betrayed me at the end of the match. He tried to rocket me and missed then he stuck me. He continued to betray us and the boot option wasn’t working.
Ive got a few perfect games in team arena objectives and a few in WZ assault.
I had a perfect game going until the last couple minutes, last few kills, on Stasis… and I died just as I grabbed the final Overshield of the match. It was a split second from activating…
Ughhh, I was so upset lol.
I almost got a perfection in a few games. It almost always comes down to (for me at least) 14-0 or 15-1
I’ve accumulated many killionaires, but those times, those times- where I only get the killpocalypse… it hurts
The closest I ever got to a killionaire was a Killpocalypse in rift ball. I was in middle of the swing when I was killed.
I know that it’s much easier to get one in riftball and grifball but it still hurts!
In BTB, my only death was my 1st death, I got betrayed by an -Yoink- in my party. He apologized after the game and thought I was a Red cuz he saw Rockets fly by his Banshee -_-… so instead of taking the time to look carefully he just bombed me. I had 25 plus kills and that betrayal in the beginning stayed in the back of my head for some time. Lucky for him, he ended up getting a perfection though, so that added more salt. I’m not one so petty enough to get instant revenge on a betrayal, depends on who it is or the situation, and if he’s trying to continue.

You’ll identify with a friend of mine. He was one kill away from an Unfrig in Halo 4 and I accidentally naded him to death.
He wasn’t very happy.

Controller disconnected, lagged out of game, and was given the mighty banhammer… I was furious and I never touched FFA since.

I got one so close once in 5 but Reach way closer, in Reach I ruined the chance for me and germen a perfection. I think I have the gameclip here somewhere.
Got an killamanjaro in Infection on the crypt however I died before I could get a killionaire
I also was playing on isolation and the game finished 11-0. 4 kills from a perfection
I got a Perfection on Rat Race Slayer yesterday and almost had it snatched by a teammate who decided they were going to kill me but luckily I got the 50th kill in time to finish 18-0.
I’ve been betrayed multiple times when I’m on a nice streak or going for Perfection, couldnt remember it enough to tell so I thought I’d share the near miss.
