I play halo 5 occasionally. I recently got back into it and started having fun especially in infected. I hardly ever leave matches. I was once banned from arena for no reason after finishing a swat match so I took a break. Later I play some more and get kicked out of a infection game. Later I get on to see all my progress in the game has been reset. I honestly do not know what I did wrong. Can someone help?

If at any point you show as SR1 when you boot the game, it means there are some connection issues - either your connection to the servers or the server in general having issues. A restart of the game or your Xbox usually clears those issues up, or waiting a short period of time for the issues to pass
The same problem just happened with me. All of my progress just reset.
Do a hard reset on your xbox. Your data will return when you restart the game.
