I’m a fan again.
Coming from rom a long time Halo player, this game feels wonderful.
it is exactly what Halo 4 should have been. It keeps all of the core elements and the new ones it adds, it adds smartly. Sprint is actually fun now and it can’t be used to run away effectively since it prevents your shields from recharging. Thrust adds intensity to fire fights and the new clambering mechanic is awesome.
The weapons are also very balanced too. People will complain and say the AR and SMG are OP when in reality, they are actually useful now.
Aim assist is now very low, especially up close, which makes for some very skillful plays and helps to balance the automatics.
Overall, I am really enjoying it. I thought there would be no way to make a skilled and balanced game with armor abilities and sprint. Now I see what 343 was trying to do with Halo 4 even though they failed with that one.
Great job 343, you made me excited about Halo again.
