Ok, so some people have been talking about how, when they first saw the grunt goblin, they bust out laughing. Well…it was round 5 for me on Warzone FF, and I had just worked my butt off trying to get through the other rounds…and then the grunt goblin comes out and I thought Ok, how hard can this be?
I show up in my wasp intent on blowing the crap out of the thing, and quite the opposite happens. My wasp is destroyed within literally 20 seconds. I sit in shock for a moment as my awfully long rescan timer ticks. After several minutes of being blown up and trying to blow it up we finally do, but I swear it is tougher than three wardens combined and it shouts insults at me the whole time. After it got destroyed, there were only ten seconds left in the game. And guess what? We had to fight 2 more! Hooray! Yeah, we lost.
I hate the goblin.
I like the Goblin but I do know how powerful it is. That’s why Infantry seems better then using vehicles.

I was fairly sure that the goblin was designed as an anti-vehicle mech, stated in their live streams (which I do not recommend as the teams give the goblin 50-60 kills combined by tossing bodies at it) and again on their reveal post for said goblin.
Personally i find the goblin a major thorn in the WWFF flow as teams are almost forced to use at least 1 tank throughout rounds 4 and 5. While I find the goblin the best thing to just stop playing and listen to him talk as he slaughters my team and they gripe at me for … Well watching them die haha.

You lasted 20 seconds in a Wasp? Good deal…a lot of people trying the same thing are down in 5.
Seriously, though, Goblins eat vehicles for breakfast. Gotta break out the heavy-duty precision power weapons. Spartan Lasers are good, as are Binary Rifles and variant Beam Rifles if you target the cockpit and break the shield. Alternately, if your fireteam can destroy the backpack on that thing, you’ve got a fighting chance with a fast mover like an Ultra Ghost.
I like the Goblin. When I first fought it I chuckled at its insults but I was mostly terrified of it jumping across the map and punching me in the face
I always keep my distance when in a tank from the Goblin let the teammates distract and I do most damage
I love fighting the goblin when its places in a decent location, not one where your forced to be in a bottle neck of doom.
