I have just bought myself a lottery ticket as I am feeling lucky.
Last night playing BTB we got presented with Elite Slayer on Headlong and everyone voted for it.
For those of you still playing Reach you will know that this is a very rare event.
The connection was crap and we lost but who cares. We got to play on Headlong.
I got to play on Anchor 9 once in team slayer like a month ago. It was amazing a DLC map actually showed up and was voted for.

I am with you there Snickerdoodle. It breaks my heart everytime they dont vote them. If they only new how rare they were.

This is so true. Three times I’ve seen Anchor9 and every time we went to Reflection, or Uncaged, or Powerhouse…

I’d maybe be okay with Reflection and would grumble a bit at Powerhouse but whenever I see DLC, it’s almost always outvoted by Sword Base or Uncaged. And I have NO idea why. And it makes me super sad face and want to cry.
Whenever I play Doubles I get DLC maps fairly regularly, Anchor 9 most of the time but I’ve had Battle Canyon show up a few times too.
DLC shows up a LOT in Halo 4 doubles. The few times I’ve poked around in doubles on Reach I played Anchor 9 I think.

I think your chance increase dramtically in doubles due to the fact that if you and your team mate have the maps then you only need to find 2 others who have them too. I might have to give some Doubles a go.
In BTB the chances of 16 players having maps is very rare.
I think you get more DLC in Halo4 because a lot of folks bought the maps with the game originally. I wish they had done something like that with Reach.

This is probably one of the reasons why I don’t play 4 anymore. There are pretty much 4 maps played no matter what you are in: Adrift, Valhalla, Haven, and maybe one or 2 big team maps, but this is normally what would show up, except maybe for flood. No DLC, and there have been so many low-leveled players in the recent days, that I’ve just given it up…
After a month of playing reach I got to play one DLC match. Actually they showed up quite a few times, but ppl rather play swordbase than anchor 9.
