I was hoping the graphics would switch to XSX

When I first saw the showcase, I was hoping at one point the graphics would switch to Xbox Series X to show the power of the new console and of the slipspace Engine.
At the begining I thought it was too ugly to be true, and then, I tought : “Mmmmm it must be a Xbox One version and in few secondes, they put the XSX mode to show the true power…”

I was wrong.
Who in 343I took the decision to show that?
Who tought to make 1 min of focus on the terrible face of the new main vilain, who looks like Xbox 360 game could be a good idea.

After the deception of Halo 4 multiplayer, after the shame of Halo 5 campaign… this Halo Infinite is not a joke to make.

And I watched after many times the gameplay demo in 4k 60 fps. And it’s still unforgiveable.

If it was another launch title for the Series X, it wouldn’t be so bad. But this is Halo. Halo is Xbox. This just showed the gaming community that Infinite looks like, at least, a five year old game, and that the Series X can’t put out.

If there was reason due to the pandemic, which is pretty likely, then they should have officially acknowledged that immediately before the demo started playing. Either way, the reveal was messed up.

Clear communication is just too much to ask for these days. Most people won’t even read the the interviews and far less people are going to read between the lines/get the message. I’m sure the xbsx is a powerful console nonetheless and the demo was played on a PC with similar specs as the xbsx as far as I know.
