… I heard that Jen Taylor (voice of Cortana and Dr. Elizabeth Halsey) reads these forums at times.

So I’m going to be nice and say that Jen Taylor is amazing in all the HALO games!!!

Now, how about that Twitter follow, Jen? :slight_smile:

They should be happy with their performances. Cortana was the only consistently above average part of Halo 4 and 5. Halsey was very well acted if not always well written.

I’m glad she ended up in Halo 5. I thought Halo 4 was the end for her and Cortana. She’s rocking the supervillian role right now.

While I personally wouldn’t have gone the route of Cortana as villain, at least not as quick as they did in Halo 5 (would’ve liked to see a much slower character progression to her turning “bad”), I have to say all of the voice acting in Halo 5 is superb. Top marks across the board. Even the NPCs are great; got a good laugh at the Sangheili love poem to Palmer lol (intel audio recording).

while I’m not a fan of the concept of cortana being a villain, the way she was voiced if nothing else was very well done.
