So I was playing Anniversary Classic in Halo Reach tonight with some friends and in the middle of a game we each received a notification on screen telling us that our accounts had been temporarily banned from earning credits. We were all pretty confused considering we were just playing a regular matchmaking game in a party of 5 players like we do each week.
After the game was over we decided to play another game to see if we were still unable to earn credits and we received the same message again, along with a new message also stating that the Xbox 360 console had been banned from earning credits. None of the three of us have ever had this happen before so we don’t really know what the cause was, how long it will last, or if it was a mistake by an automatic system at 343.
I’d also like to add that the console isn’t modded or anything like that, we’ve played on this console and these gamertags many times before since Reach’s release and weren’t doing anything special in the matchmaking games we were playing. Any explanation would be great and we’d also like to find out if this will have any permanent consequences on our accounts.
My gamertag is obviously Pezcore343 and the other two accounts were ChaoticPK and SuccubusCindy.
