Ouch.
> boot the other player. The announcer didn’t even count it as a betrayal. The dude kept on mantis stomping me and taking down my shields for the enemy to kill. I went 1-18.

What gametype were you in?

The way it works is if your teammate depletes your shields but an enemy kills you then it’s not a betrayal and a kill for the enemy instead. In the other hand, if an enemy pops your shield and your teammate kills you it also doesn’t register as a betrayal but as a kill for the enemy that depleted your shield.
Yea. It sucks.
I think it only counts as a betrayal if they actually kill you…so stomping on you hard enough to let the enemy finish you off may not trip that option. But it triggers the urge to rage quit, I’m sure
Report him for unsporting conduct and avoid player through the dashboard, and move on…wow, C.O. and I posted at the same time, LOL

Uhm, but we wouldn’t have mentioned it, if that wasn’t what you said??
Then that really is terrible.

You literally said the Mantis popped your shield and the enemy killed you. So that will not register as a betrayal.

Is the video in your fileshare?
I’ve heard of the Mantis stomp counting as a suicide
EDIT: Already addressed.
Honestly OP, you should have just quit at that point, and then reported him.
Lol. I got kicked for betraying the mantis in CTF on Ragnarok cause I hopped out of it when it was on fire and threw a grenade at it to blow it up so it would respawn just as some guy jumped in it.
Friendly-fire just needs to be removed.
