Correct. You didn’t cheat. You did, however, quit…a lot. This is a bannable offense. Also, I am having a hard time believing that you actually had someone playing on that second controller, because in most of the games that you didn’t quit, your guest not only didn’t get any kills, but no points either. This is determined as boosting, and that is another bannable offense. So, yes, you did something wrong. Maybe you didn’t know it would ban you, but it did. To avoid bans, you should quit fewer games and make sure your guest gets at least one kill.

It’s nice to know the banhammer works. Too many quits and use of a guest to help boost. Pretty cut and dry to me.
Do you really have no concept that members on here won’t check game history? The title should read, “Banned from Earning XP and I Deserve It!”.
I should also add that any and all bans are irreversible. They are not handed out or monitored by an actual person, but done automatically by the matchmaking server, so asking for your ban to be lifted is pointless.
IMO, an XP ban has got to be the least scary thing ever. Having trudged through to Inheritor, and then whizzed to 130 in just a couple of months, gaining max XP in Halo 4 is quite quick.
