The other night after a long session of matchmaking I decided to have a mess around on forge to see some prefabs and test some out/make my own, so I started off just making a template for an arena map, it’s pretty basic, pretty big for a prefab but for my first attempt at making a map I thought it was alright, I’ve made a video for it Here so you can check out my little overview (sorry about my voice, it was like 5am and I was extremely tired).
You can download it for yourself if you go to the content browser and search for my gamertag under the prefabs list, it’s called Arena Map Template. I used another prefab in my prefab (prefabception?) and that was the forerunner tower by a ninja samurai, so all credit goes to him/her for making that, I think it looks pretty awesome.
But anyways the main point for this post is I really want to see what you guys can come up with to make some truly awesome maps out of this basic template. I’m gonna be working on some myself but I’m a pretty amateur forger so I wanna see what some pros can do with this. If you want me to I will help play test your creations and what not, just send me a message or something, also if you could share your creations on this thread then that’d be awesome :3
