There are a few of the best M&K players in the world out there grinding ranked Infinite. They have stated they are probably at too much of a disadvantage vs controller for the serious professional level in the current state of the game. There is also a well known Halo Legend that moved to another game and has been playing M&K on it for a long time. He came back to Infinite on M&K but has switched back to controller as he stated it has way too big of an advantage right now to use M&K at that level. These are the people I will pay attention too over any bickering on these forums.
Maybe M&K will eventually have itâs own league. Which would be very cool. Or after adjustments are made some professional players will feel using M&K is worth it. Only time will tell.
Thatâs kind of what I figured, unfortunately. I hope 343 will do something about the disparity between M&K and controller, until then I just might put this game down.
At this point theyâve made so many poor faith arguments Iâm just going to assume theyâre trolling. I know some people on both input devices arenât happy, but this person is just taking it to too unrealistic levels to take their complains seriously.
So you think Snip3down, a Halo legend, who is playing on controller, is making poor faith arguments? When he clearly states that there wonât be M&K pros because the aim assist makes it unfair itâs because he wants his own input shutdown? LOL. There is a separated ranked playlist because they knew M&K would not be able to compete against the Aim Assist at high levels. However they canât nerf the aim assist anymore because it would make average and below average controller players struggle so hard they wouldnât want to play. Here is a controller Halo pro telling it like it is:
I think the person in this thread is making poor faith arguments, yes. I donât think half of what they are saying is serious. I donât know who this person is youâre talking about. Their name doesnât match the person in the OP. And I donât care who they are. The arguments Iâve seen I donât consider to be in good faith.
Snipedown is a former Halo pro (current Apex Legends pro) that also plays on controller. He has more experience and knowledge about halo and controller than any person in this forum.
You can literally copy and paste the YouTube video. It is a professional Halo player, Snip3down, who uses controller, explaining why there wonât be any pros on M&K. Itâs literally just a few minutes long.
I wasnât talking about that person, so your argument is a strawman. If some other person is making good faith sensible arguments, cool. They werenât who I was talking about.
Youâre making the bad faith argument here. LOL. You just claim someone is arguing in âbad faithâ without pointing in anyway how that is the case. They are basically saying the same thing professional Halo players that use controller are saying. How is that in bad faith?
Well their arguments on their âWhy Do Console Players Want Crossplay Disabled Anyway?â Were more why I got that impression. Where they basically said AA was cheating. And controller players didnât have a right to complain about cheaters, some of which have used wall hacks and actual aimbots. I think that was in very poor faith.
Theyâve also started several threads where they just bash AA in various ways. And the tone in general is condescending.
They also flat out call controller users whoâve voiced concerns about crossplat flat out bad. Yet, they complain about crossplat themselves. Itâs not exactly something someone arguing in good faith would do in my opinion. If they want to get serious, Iâd stop saying what Iâve said.
Iâve played CSGO Iâm well aware of the advantages MnK has in general. What advantages does MnK have in Infinite? Because it sure as hell isnât higher accuracy and it sure as hell isnât flicking because basically every weapon in Infinite relies on tracking not aiming. So Iâll ask you again. What advantage does MnK have over controller?
