I’ve Been a fan of Halo since the very start and not many people can claim that, over the years I’ve kept with the series in the ups and downs, but the MCC a few months ago killed my Halo experience, not being able to find matches, buggy campaign, It really took the Halo out of me and for months after the incidents I wanted to just boot up the MCC and return but I just don’t have any enthusiasm to Play Halo anymore.
Can anyone suggest something that could kickstart my love of Halo again?
fire up the ol’360 if you have one and then load up reach…that’s what got me hooked on halo again. that intro, can play it over and over…
then i installed halo ce & halo 2 vista on my windows 8.1 machine and blasted away some alien scum… halo ce on the pc sounds epic with the eax sound enabled, plus a fov fix makes it so much more enjoyable, after that then i had to get a an xb1 to relive the memories again.
so far i’ve finally completed halo 4 after original starting it on the 360 but never finishing it, half way through halo 3, quarter through 2 & just started halo anni. spartan ops is cool too, and it’s free to play unlike on the 360 where you need gold.
Go back to the 360 and start playing some of the Halo games you enjoyed the most. Play singleplayer, play multiplayer - whatever floats your boat. Just go and have fun with what creates the most enjoyable experience for you personally.
Wait for H5. You may need a break from Halo 'till then. If H5 then can’t spark your interest it will only destroy it even more. At that point don’t get upset, just move on, because Halo is just a video game. Many had their hopes that TMCC would do just what you want. Re-ignite that spark. We all know how that went. A lot are bummed. MS seems to just not know wth they’re doing anymore. Maybe they’re dumping all the seasoned talent to reduce costs.
I may suggest waiting until E3 to hype you up for Halo 5. If you can’t wait until then, play on the 360.

Don’t bother op, -Yoink- still doesn’t work as advertised and you’ll find yourself in endless loops of quitting the build and parties rather than actually playing. Save yourself the frustration.
Go into the Halo channel app and start watching all the back stories to Halo. Get more into the story line of Halo.

It’s been fixed since I got it almost a month ago. It’s the first non-Spartan Series Halo game I got, and I think it’s an immense amount of fun. All the campaigns, the multiplayer is great, plus Spartan Ops, I think that it is an excellent way to get back into Halo if the launch ruined it for you. Seriously, I’ve heard that it’s much better now.

True that. I’ve clocked in 200 hours and I’m just finishing up most of the campaign achievements (except for LASO). Then it’s more multiplayer and back to campaign when ODST comes out.
This game is great, I love it.
Apparently “The Master Chief Saga” cross-game campaign playlist on MCC isn’t enough…

Halo Reach is ironically what killed my halo playing for years…
Go play Halo 2 campaign or matchmaking… always a blast!
I would play on the 360 and I tried to but jesus that thing is so slow, and the 30 FPS hurts my eyes lol I don’t know how I played on it for so long

i know right? 30fps is so last gen!
MCC killed my experience as well and I had returned my xbox one but i repurchased and have been having no problems and playing halo every single day. its awesome. There are few playlists with ranks now and they are going to add ranks to the majority of playlists with the update at the end of this month. just play mcc

Halo 4 Spartan Ops: Cinematics or gameplay. Or both.
Then, and only then…
